Patrick Chesney
Vice President
Patrick joined ISD in 1989 as the 5th person hired — a foundational member of the team who has grown alongside the company for 37 years, rising to Vice President. Starting as a detailer, then working as a modeler, he gained firsthand experience across multiple stages of the process, developing a well-rounded understanding of production that has shaped his entire career.
Patrick has worked on numerous projects including award-winning industrial projects as well as nuclear projects, bringing the same exacting standards and attention to detail to every project.
Weibing Yan
Quality Control and Global Offices Manager
Weibing earned his PhD from Louisiana State University. With a career in quality control that began in 2000, he brings over two decades of hands-on experience to everything he does. That foundation shaped his sharp eye for detail and deep understanding of what it takes to maintain the highest standards and keep projects on time. Weibing has 26 years detailing experience.
Today, as a Quality Control Manager, he leads with the same dedication to precision and excellence that guided him from day one. His journey reflects not just technical expertise, but a genuine commitment to continuous improvement and mentoring others along the way.
He started our China office in 2006, making ISD a global company. He has been managing and directing that office since then.
Joey Liuzzo
Detailing Manager / Estimator
Joey has been part of the ISD family for over 20 years. He started at the bottom, learning the ropes the hard way, and worked his way up to where he is today.
As our Detailing Manager, and one of our estimators, Joey has gotten to experience a little bit of everything — which means when he puts together an estimate or oversees a job, he knows exactly what it takes to get it done right. No guesswork, no shortcuts. Just two decades of real, hands-on knowledge. He cares about the details, he cares about doing right by the customer, and he’s earned every bit of trust this team has in him.
John Huey
Director of Projects
John has been part of the ISD family since 2000. He started as a checker, learning the ropes from the ground up, and over the years, worked his way into project management.
That journey shapes how John leads today. He’s been in the trenches, so when overseeing a project, it’s not from a distance — it’s with real, earned understanding of what it takes to get things done right. More than two decades in, projects benefit from that experience. If you ask around, you’ll hear the same thing: John directs with integrity, works hard, and genuinely cares about doing right by the people and projects he is responsible for.
Since ISD began with just two employees in 1987, they have experienced significant growth. Today they have two offices worldwide to better meet your detailing needs. A large in-house checking staff allows ISD to meet and exceed the quality standards their customers demand in the world market. Owner
Lloyd Jones has been in the steel detailing business since 1981. After graduating from LSU with a degree in Industrial Technology, he worked at Port Allen Marine where he helped in the design and construction of barges. Lloyd is a Christian and believes in running his business with integrity and Christian principles. His desire is to provide the highest quality of living for all his employees at the office and in their personal lives. This has led to an excellent working environment.
